We are focusing on big and positive changes for Jilli Kae in 2009. The store is moving to its new location in a couple of weeks and we are so excited. Looking back at this past year there have been many challenges and achievements that have brought us to where we are today, and so many more exciting opportunities are coming our way in 2009. I can't help but smile and say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Join our celebration in the new year by making a list of all your accomplishments in 2008 no matter how big or how small. Review that list whenever you meet new challenges in 2009 and embrace those feelings of success and possibility, then move forward with a smile on your face. Oh my Clutches! – 11/20/08
Well girls, what can I say but OMG! I have never seen such cute little clutches in all my life. We have so many different designs, there is one for every occasion. I think my favorite is the "Audrey". I can totally see her carrying that velvet clutch with the polka dot bow in "Charade" or "Sabrina". The "Jennifer" clutch is more mod with a big buckle on the front and looks like it came out of the late ‘60s early ‘70s. The "Jennifer" comes in many colors and is very affordable. When you come in to purchase your great new clutch don't forget to check out our great selection of hats. They are fun and casual and will be a great asset for these windy days. Remember, there are only 44 days of Holiday shopping left this season! Think of Jilli Kae when you start your holiday shopping ( I warned you about these shameless reminders).

Exploding at the Seams - 10/12/08
Hello Ladies (and sometimes Gentlemen). Balloon Fiesta is winding down and I am going to be able to bring my focus back to making jewelry and displaying all of our new merchandise that is still arriving weekly. Despite what's going on around the world right now I am predicting a wonderful and abundant holiday season for everyone this year. I have realized that we all need to focus on us and what we can do to stay on a positive track and continue on as business and life as usual. Now is the time to stay focused on your personal goals and if you don't have any, now is the time to start making a few. An easy one to meet everyday before you go to bed is to think of at least 3 things you are thankful for at that moment. Make them even more powerful by saying them out loud and into a mirror. Of course, the only way to do this when you’re lying in bed is to have mirrors installed on your ceiling...I will leave that one up to you! Now, because I am in retail, I have to say, there is only 74 shopping days left until Christmas. I will be doing these shameless reminders because I am exploding at the seams with new merchandise and I want you to think of Jilli Kae when you ask yourself, "Where should I do my holiday shopping?"

Party in Poco a Poco Patio - 10/11/08
It's time to party in Poco a Poco Patio! Bring the little ones trick or treating in Old Town on Halloween, a safe way to score lots of treats. We have super cute crystal spider rings to add sparkle to your Halloween costume and glittery skulls on necklaces, earrings, rings and even a super stylish evening bag. Sparkly skulls are all the rage right now so you can celebrate Halloween all year around or at the very least pretend to hang out with Captain Jack Sparrow.

November 1 Santisima is hosting their 3rd annual day of the dead party and parade. This party is great fun and is growing bigger every year. We like to encourage everyone to dress up as a skeleton of your choice so you can participate in the parade and contests. I highly recommend this event, it's a blast. 3 Years and Counting - 9/15/08
Jilli Kae is entering our 4th year of business and we couldn't be more excited. These last 3 years have gone by so fast my head is spinning just thinking about it. Today we are working on our goals for the next year and we are planning a lot of exciting new things. I can't divulge any information right now because it's in it's birthing stage, but I will say I have big goals and big plans for 2009. Wow, now I am starting to sweat it out a bit...commitments like this will do it to me every time. I am also perspiring a lot because we have all this new merchandise coming in and no where to display it all. Please start your holiday shopping at Jilli Kae as soon as possible, so this claustrophobic feeling will wane. (Breathing in a paper bag)

What happened to the online store? - 8/25/08
I am a brick and mortar type gal and running a store on the internet just didn't agree with me. This is not to say, that if it was making tons of money, I may have flirted with cyber space a bit more. But, when it comes down to it, running my shop is more then just that. It's my creative rescue on a daily basis, my true passion and I enjoy the human contact and getting to know my customers. So for you folks who live out of town or just like to check out what is new, we will be changing the photos on the website on a regular basis. New Look at Jilli Kae - 8/23/08
Jilli Kae is the same chic boutique as always, but because of our creative brains and the stores emerging personality we decided to update our logo. The original logo was fun and whimsical, but we wanted to add more sophistication and embody it's true chicness. In keeping with the beautiful lavender shopping bags you know and love, we decided that the new design must encompass the different shades of my favorite color, purple.
